There are a few important things to keep in mind when preparing loose leaf Japanese green tea: quantity of water to leaves ratio; water temperature; and steeping time...

Quick recap for loose leaf brewing:

• Water quantity: 200ml (or 400ml for large serving)

• Leaves quantity: 8g or (or 16g for large serving)
